We’ve been doing this for over 100 years, and we proudly stand behind our glasses and clip-ons – so much, we offer a one (1) year warranty against manufacturer’s defect.
What’s that? A manufacturer’s defect is any damage to the frame or clip-on parts, including but not limited to hardware and hinges, or discoloration of the frame or clip-on that’s not associated with normal wear-and-tear. For example, if the hinges on the temple are loose and won’t tighten, that’s a defect! What’s not a defect? “Oy! I sat on my glasses” – that’s not covered under warranty.
WHAT IS COVERED?
Eyeglasses, sunglasses, and clip-ons purchased on MOSCOT.COM, at MOSCOT Shops and authorized MOSCOT Stockists.
WHAT IS THE WARRANTY COVERAGE?
Within one (1) year from the purchase date, we will repair or replace any covered product proving defective in material and workmanship free of charge; all warranty repairs and services are performed by an authorized MOSCOT technician or at an authorized MOSCOT Stockist.
This warranty extends to the original buyer, who must present proof of purchase.
ANY EXCLUSIONS?
Yes!
- Use other than normal use, including but not limited to abuse, accidents, alterations, improper or misuse of covered product
- Normal use resulting in lens scratches
- Lost or stolen frame
- Repairs or services performed by anyone other than an authorized MOSCOT technician or at an authorized MOSCOT Stockist
- Clip-on warranty, which applies once within one (1) calendar year
HOW DO I OBTAIN WARRANY SERVICE?
For MOSCOT.COM purchases, e-mail
support@moscot.com with the subject line “Warranty Service Inquiry.” Please note shipping is the responsibility of the sender, so we recommend parcel tracking, as we are not responsible for any theft or loss during transport.
For MOSCOT Shop purchases, bring item with receipt to the Shop location where the purchase was originally made; warranty service may be obtained only there.
For purchases at authorized MOSCOT Stockists, bring item with receipt to the authorized Stockist where the purchase was originally made; warranty service may be obtained only there.
