While known as the black sheep of the family, Sol’s brother, Sam, was loved just the same. A bit of a rebel with a strong sense of self, when it came to matters of the family business, he fit in like a square peg to a round hole. Mr. Kelly was 4th Generation Harvey's grade school science teacher. He was known for two things: his signature look (a short-sleeved button-down shirt, thin black tie, and NASA-esque glasses); and the show-and-tell of marine life he always brought into class. Between scribbling song lyrics in the pages of his notebook and acing his exams, Harvey loved learning about sea life. An ode to Mr. Kelly and his iconic style, be sure to take note of this DUDEL!

Hyman's son-in-law Hal (aka, his "aidim") was a nice enough cat, but his work ethic was, well...non-existent. So after a brief stint behind the Orchard Street counter, Hyman encouraged Hal to pursue "other opportunities." Hyman felt guilty. Hal was never happier. We named this frame to honor all The AIDIMs out there, and the father-in-laws who've sent them on their way.

Dressed in his colorful guayaberas and wrap-around frames as loud as his laugh, Luis was impossible to miss – and even harder to resist. Back in the days of yore, when the Lower East Side was more rough and tumble than cocktails and tapas, MOSCOT's resident optometrist, Dr. Richard Fleisig, aka "Dr. Zetz," did double duty: provided excellent eye care to patients, and punched (hence his moniker) bad guys tasks that were (almost always) mutually exclusive. Like Dr. Zetz, this strong, sturdy frame is a knockout.
