Tint+ is MOSCOT’s light-adaptive tint, designed to shift with the light. Indoors, the lenses wear as a lighter tint; outdoors, they gradually deepen in color. Think everyday tint meets sunglass – in one frame.

Tint+ lenses use photochromic technology that responds to outdoor UV light. Indoors or in low light, they remain at their lightest tint. Step outside, and the color gradually deepens. The speed and intensity of the transition will vary depending on light and temperature conditions.

Not always – and that’s by design. Tint+ is intended to create a subtle, everyday transition rather than reach the same depth as a fixed-tint sunglass lens. The final shade will also vary depending on outdoor light and temperature.

Yes. Like all photochromic lenses, Tint+ responds to both UV light and temperature. In cooler temperatures, the lenses typically darken more. In warmer temperatures, they may remain lighter – even in bright sunlight. This is a normal characteristic of photochromic technology.

Tint+ begins responding shortly after exposure to outdoor UV light and gradually deepens while outside. Once you head indoors, the lenses will fade back toward their lighter tint. Transition time can vary depending on temperature and lighting conditions.

Yes. Tint+ lenses provide UV protection in both their lighter and darker states.

Yes. Tint+ is available with select prescription lenses. Contact our Customer Service team or visit a MOSCOT Shop, and we’ll help you find the right option.

No. Tint+ lenses are not polarized.

Tint+ is available in four signature shades:

  • Rose+

Each starts with a lighter version of the color and deepens outdoors for a richer tint.

Tint+ is available on select MOSCOT frames, including The DOLT, LEMTOSH, DAHVEN, and MILTZEN.
