ANATOMY OF OUR FRAMES

  • HINGE

    Moscot uses three (3), five (5), and seven (7) barrel metal hinges for added strength and durability.

  • RIVETS

    MOSCOT rivets are real and functional. They are not simply for decoration, but instead stake through the frame front and the temple, ensuring sturdy and quality construction that lasts.

  • TEMPLE TIP

    Temple tips are strategically designed so that the frame rests comfortably on the face. Both MOSCOT acetate and metal temple tips can be adjusted by a licensed optician for a proper fit!

  • BRIDGE

    The bridge is the part of the frame front that rests above the nose. The key hole and metal bridge are our most universal fitting.

  • NOSEPADS

    MOSCOT frames feature acetate and metal nose pads, both of which are key components of the frame design but also a integral part of the fit. Our metal bridges with silicone, titanium, and bone nose pads can be adjusted for all bridge types.

Designed and prototyped in New York City, all MOSCOT Eyewear is handmade, using the highest quality materials, real hardware, and hinges that are riveted through the temple and frame fronts to ensure the sturdiest construction possible.  In our very own New York lab, MOSCOT manufactures all prescription lenses in-house and carefully inspects every frame before dispensing its eyewear, assuring the best quality and fit.
