Not at home, no. High-quality acetate (like ours) needs professional handling. Trying to bend thick plastic glasses frames on your own can lead to warping or cracking – no good. Instead, stop by a licensed optician or a MOSCOT Shop, where our trained team can make safe adjustments using heat and expert tools. With the right care, your bold frames will keep their shape – and their charm – for years to come.

It's a common question – and the answer is not necessarily. Lens thickness is determined primarily by your prescription, not your frame size.

For stronger prescriptions, lenses require greater curvature to properly correct vision. This can result in thicker edges for nearsighted prescriptions or thicker centers for farsighted prescriptions.

That said, larger frames do contain more lens surface area, which can make lens thickness more noticeable in certain prescriptions.

That's why lens material matters.

For stronger prescriptions, MOSCOT often recommends Hi-Index lenses, which are designed to be thinner and lighter than standard lens materials. This allows wearers to enjoy larger, bolder frames without unnecessary weight or thickness.
