We’re pretty sure most of you have seen an image of yourself with the dreadful red-eyed zombie look. Yeah… not so flattering.
The red-eye effect (aka “pupillary red reflex”) is due to the reflection off the retina (back of eye) when light is flashed into the eye and reflected back out. Because of the rich blood supply to the retina, the reflex appears red in pictures.
Not sure how to fix this? Replace your photographer or use a red-eye reducing mechanism (available in most cameras)… and then head to a MOSCOT shop for the only red eye colored element that should show up in your photos – Ruby Frames!
