Inspired by the British Public Health Services "Poor Boy" Spectacles of the 1960s, The ZEV is named for GREAT Grandpa Sol's cousin and neighborhood lawyer, Zeyfer Braunstein (or Zev for short), who wore this clever, dapper frame (British accent included) when he needed to put his best face forward, helping neighbors whose reputations were on the line, get off the hook.

A favorite Moscot family tradition, Joel and the boys would close up shop and head down Broome street to Little Italy to snack on some tasty Zeppoles. Inspired by the Italian chef whipping up the treats, The TELENA is a little bit bigger and a whole lot bolder than our beloved LEMTOSH. The TELENA is an homage to those who carry traditions, even when far from home.
