Borrowing his moniker, and his signature style, from the King of Rock and Roll, Joey was always flashin’ a pair of gold aviators and a combed back pompadour. With Joey’s rock star persona in mind, The SHAV was designed to turn heads on your way out the door. Elvis has left the building.

Harry, a reputable Lower East Side judge, was more rough and tumble than robe and gavel. He carried an air of authority and was ready to resolve any dispute (whether he was asked to or not)! He was most notable for settling clashes on Orchard Street over the age-old game of street dice. Just like the bold and bright Harry, The ARBITA, is the real deal - no need to roll the dice.

We named The BREN for our beloved, longtime employee, Ida Wax, who worked for 40 years at MOSCOT from the 1960s through 1990s. A "Bren" incarnate, she was a firecracker of a woman, charismatic and full of energy, and an inspiration to everyone who knew and loved her.

We named this frame The GROYSE because it's big. Big on style, big on character, and just plain big. Big, big, big. With its soft round shape, raw gold color, retro, flat beveled edges, and a bridge that sits high. The GROYSE is 1970s all the way. Can you dig?

Like The LEMTOSH, this "brother" from another mother, The BRUDE, shares its same round-square shape, and easy good looks, but is made from a metal acetate combination, and is rivet-free. First seen on brudes, dudes, and sisters in the 1960s, The BRUDE is subtly striking, and features detailed engraving on its bridge and temples.

This is a true story about a little guy who wore a little frame. A friendly optician from the original Orchard Street Shop, it was always Seymour’s mission to provide the proper fitting frame on even the smallest of punims…his name was ‘see more,’ after all! Made for the best (& littlest!) optician on Orchard Street, this prized PITSEL is for our guy, Sy!

While known as the black sheep of the family, Sol’s brother, Sam, was loved just the same. A bit of a rebel with a strong sense of self, when it came to matters of the family business, he fit in like a square peg to a round hole. A "balebus" is someone who is resolute, indomitable, and steadfast - qualities Great Grandpa Hyman so admired, he "invented" the "word" balebus to "identify" a "balebuster" whenever he saw one. Nearly 100 years later, we Moscots still love us a balebus, but think this frame may be a more appropriate way to "identify" one.
