A smart-aleck and troublemaker indeed, Jack was the neighborhood kid always up to no good. A momma's boy at heart, Jack was strong-willed and smart, but never seemed to be where he said he would be. While named after the kid you gotta keep an eye on, The MOMZA will make it hard to look away!

A favorite Moscot family tradition, Joel and the boys would close up shop and head down Broome street to Little Italy to snack on some tasty Zeppoles. Inspired by the Italian chef whipping up the treats, The TELENA is a little bit bigger and a whole lot bolder than our beloved LEMTOSH. The TELENA is an homage to those who carry traditions, even when far from home.

When Hyman arrived on Ellis Island 119 years ago, he heard, "What is your name, where are you from?" shouted from a distance. Although the ground was not paved in gold as promised, we wanted to honor his ambitious thinking by launching a Special Edition of the treasured LEMTOSH.

Inspired by the British Public Health Services "Poor Boy" Spectacles of the 1960s, The ZEV is named for GREAT Grandpa Sol's cousin and neighborhood lawyer, Zeyfer Braunstein (or Zev for short), who wore this clever, dapper frame (British accent included) when he needed to put his best face forward, helping neighbors whose reputations were on the line, get off the hook.

Sol's lawyer, Fritz, was an eccentric guy, built with many layers. While he was unyielding and tough when dispensing legal advice, he didn't have a bad side. Designed with an air of strength to make a bold statement, FRITZ is the frame, no matter how you look at it.

Ezra ran the busiest fruit stand in the Essex Street Market, but that didn't stop his daily visits to GREAT Grandpa Sol to trade crisp Granny Smith apples for the pair of eyeglasses he coveted. It took quite a few bushels for Ezra to pay for these classic, WWII era spectacles, but eventually he took care of his debt, while simultaneously proving that an apple a day does not, in all cases, keep the doctor away.

Zesty, zealous…sometimes a bit zany, this one’s named for Abe Zindik, a local L.E.S. resident and professor at Brooklyn College. Heshy called William Velvyl (a moniker earned whilst the two boozy buddies were farshnoshket). Velvyl wore these glasses, and only these glasses, his entire life. Ergo, The VELVYL! Cheers!
