The line down Orchard street was quite the spectacle at the latest MOSCOT Music event with the uber musically talented, José James. Often referred to as a jazz singer for the hip-hop generation, New York City-based vocalist José James combines jazz, soul, drum’n’bass, and spoken word into his own unique brand of vocal jazz.
As seen on his latest album cover, José was spotted wearing the MOSCOT Groyse frames… that was until he landed his eyes on the notorious MOSCOT + Common Projects drop. Packing the house to the max, the MOSCOT Music Gallery was filled with jazz legends and listeners ready to hear the man of the hour rip into his vocals with his infamous band. Opening up for José was Brooklyn native, DJ Reborn, who has worked alongside The Roots, Common, Talib Kweli, John Legend, and more!
This was a music event goin’ down in the books. But don’t worry if you missed out – José is headed on a worldwide tour!
