Fans lined the sidewalk of Orchard Street last Thursday evening, to help us kick off the start of summer with Austin Plaine!
The MOSCOT Gallery and Music Space was filled with the folksy melodies of the singer-songwriter, who performed an intimate acoustic set — featuring new, not-yet-released music, and hits from his current self-titled album — to the delight of guests and fans. Heavily influenced by the likes of Bob Dylan, Bright Eyes, Elliott Smith, and Ryan Adams, the Minneapolis-native folk singer had a voice reminiscent of worn flannel and faded jeans. Topping off his laid-back, easy attire and sound, the artist rocked The GELT in Honey Blonde.
