A summer hot spot for Italians, Rimini is currently covered in snow and MOSCOT! Check out these beautiful images of Occhi di Gard, a charming shop in Rimini, Italy that has done MOSCOT proud with their incredible window displays. If we didn't know better, we might think a new MOSCOT shop had opened in Italy! Well done and thank you for a fantastic job, Occhi di Gard!
In between gigs at the Bowery Ballroom and Brooklyn Bowl, Ha Ha Tonka stopped by The MOSCOT Gallery and Music Space on February 11th to play a special stripped down, acoustic set. The guys played old folk/Americana classics as well as original, upbeat hits like "Usual Suspects" off their latest album, Death of a Decade. It was a blast having Missouri-based Ha Ha Tonka bring some of their Southern rock to our hometown shop!
It's been a great opening week for MOSCOT Court Street, with warm wishes galore from fans, neighbors and press.
We're so grateful to GQ.com, Racked, The Brooklyn Daily Eagle, and Brownstoner for helping trumpet our arrival in Brooklyn! A huge thank you to everyone for all of your support!
We're extremely excited to announce that we've opened the doors to our new shop at 159 Court Street in the historic Cobble Hill neighborhood of Brooklyn in New York City. Fuhgeddaboudit!
Our new shop incorporates the same unexpected blend of elements that make our Manhattan shops so fun, eclectic, and inviting, including period details from our original MOSCOT shop on the Lower East Side (circa 1930), and vintage pieces sourced from around the world that ensure an authentic historical customer experience.
In addition, the street level shop’s giant windows (which bear an uncanny resemblance to the original MOSCOT storefront on Rivington Street, circa 1934) provide the perfect canvas for us to entertain fans with an ever-changing series of whimsical displays – the first of which is a cadre of Great Grandpa Hymans assigned to welcome visitors to the new shop.
MOSCOT Court Street will stock The MOSCOT Originals, MOSCOT Spirit and MOSCOT Sun Collections, as well as complementary brands, Bevel, Lindberg, Mykita, Paul Frank, and children’s eyewear brand, BBig.
“MOSCOT has had a home in Downtown Manhattan for nearly a hundred years and for that we’re very grateful,” said Co-President, Wendy Simmons. “Our opening in Brooklyn is really a return to our roots since Brooklyn was the home of the third generation of Moscots – and nothing feels better than coming home!”
We look forward to seeing old fans and new at 159 Court Street!
